Trefik 15 - Streaks results and filtering and the Offer window
Trefik 15 brings the possibility of displaying the streaks values directly by the match data at the Offer window. There can be the current streak as well as the maximum streak from the selected past period. One row at the Offer window can contain data from many different streaks - each value at a column. Then it is possible to work with those data and use them to find the best betting strategy at the Offer window. The window Filter contains the new features "Steak home" and "Streak away". If they are not visible you can just click the button "more ...". These new features provide the possibility to assign a group of streak values which should be watched for the home / away team. The streak groups can be created/edited after using the button EDIT: .. every row defines a streak which would be saved at this group of streaks for future using at the Offer window. A Streak is defined by: sport (soccer, ice hockey, basketball or handball), bet type (i.e. "team scores a goal"), bet to watch (i.e. "no goal"), opponent against which the streak should be counted, ground (home, away, all), whether to watch the maximum at the selected period. It means another value could be returned in this case (the same value would be returned just in the case that the same streak was also at the past). In order to see the streak values at the Offer window it is necessary to define the new columns at the Filter / Columns section: .. the Offer window looks like this then: .. the picture shows that Chelsea has the current streak of "scored a goal" at home matches (= 1st new column) the value 20. The maximum for the same streak (third new column) is the value 0. As it was described above the current streak is not returned at the case if it is also the longest streak. A previous longest streak should be returned instead. But the settings allow to count the streak just from the current and one previous season (see further text) and there were just and only 20 matches. It means no other longest streak is not available and that is why zero is returned as the maximum streak here. The other streak is "opponent did not score" which is the same as the streak "the team did no receive any goal". There is the value 0 for Chelsea for the current streak (2nd new column). The maximum for this streak is 5 matches (at the current + the previous season). How the streaks are counted can be defined at the window for streaks group definition by clicking the button SETTINGS. Then the following window appears: The option "How many years" set from which year should be the streaks counted. The number of years is deducted from the date of the start of the current season (the streaks are counted only from one competition). Then it is possible to set which streaks should be counted for which sport. The more streaks are selected to be counted the longer time it would take to count the streaks data. If we wish to work with just a few streak types then it is not a good idea to activate all streak types. Trefik saves previously counted streaks data and works with previous results also the next time the streak data are requested. Streaks are recounted if a previous result is updated or the match is rescheduled. If there are a lot of streak data saved for the future matches (after running a filter for those matches) then reading the standard data updates would take a longer time because the not valid streak data must be deleted. To make the updates run faster would help using the button "Delete counted records" in this case. When counting the streaks the settings from this window are always taken into account. It does not matter which streak data are selected at the definition of streak groups. If the user wishes to work with a streak then this streak must be first allowed in this window. Streaks data available at the Offer window provide a lot of new ways how to filter matches and get the best betting strategy.
