Trefik 10 - a comfortable direction to the right predictions
Trefik version 10 is built on a new database technology which allows automatic data updates at the background. The new technology also guarantees the data stability. Using Trefik is much more enjoyable and comfort now.
All new Trefik orders are satisfied with Trefik 10 automatically. The users of older Trefik version are able to make upgrade directly from their older Trefik. If any problems occure with proceeding the upgrade let us know at trefik@trefik.com and we will help you with getting Trefik 10.
Trefik was programmed in 1996 using the database Paradox. Because of the database size and because of no upgrades of this database technology were available it was evident that a database exchange must be done in Trefik soon. We have decided to use the database system ElevateDB. It is a stable and a fast solution. It took about 8 months to implement all the needed changes in Trefik concerning the database system exchange. Finally the Christmas 2010 meant that Trefik 10 is available for the users.
The most important new feature is the possibility of data updates, counting tables and creating predictions at the background. It means the user can search through the current offer and Trefik still gets and reads the new odds and results at the same time. The user does not have to wait till the update or counting the competition tables is done. User can still work with Trefik and he can be sure the database is still updated.
To run the background updates it is necessar to active the mode ONLINE at the bottom right corner of the main Trefik window (the opposite choice is named Offline):
If the circle is blue then a background activity is being processed. If the color of the circle is yellow then Trefik does not proceed any background activity.
If the mouse cursor is at the circle then the hint displays which activity is just being processed (update, counting tables, making predictions or the odds installation after the Trefik installation).
Right mouse button click brings a menu with the possibility of showing the list of logged background activities.
